GCSE Photography at St James's
Lens and Light Based Media
Unit 1: worth 60%. A portfolio of work produced during Year 10 and 11 illustrating skills in a wide range of disciplines.
Unit 2: Worth 40%. The externally Set Task (Exam) takes place in the Spring Term of Year 11.
If you opt for Photography you will need to have:
- An interest in being creative
- A desire to develop a range of technical skills
- High levels of personal motivation, including a commitment to producing work in your own time.
- Please note that pupils should expect a level of ICT work as part of the course – digital editing, creating films and portfolio presentation etc…
