Parents' Evening Booking System

In 2023-24 all of our parents' evening bookings will be made via the EduLink One app.  If you are unable to access the app for you child, please contact Ms Slack on 01204333000 or email pupildata@st-james.bolton.sch.uk.  

Year parents evenings are on the following dates between 4pm and 6:30pm

• Year 9 B Band Tuesday 30th January 2024
• Year 9 Y Band Thursday 1st February 2024
• Year 10 B Band Tuesday 13th February 2024
• Year 10 Y Band Thursday 15th February 2024

Please ensure that you follow these guidelines for year 9 parents evenings.

 To book your appointments on Edulink One please follow these steps;

Step 1

 Log into the Edulink One app on your phone.  If you have more than one child at St James, please ensure you select the child in year 11.  Select the “Parents Evening” icon towards the bottom of the options on the home screen.

Step 2

 You will then be presented with the parents evening option.  Click on any part of the parents evening information.

Step 3

You will then be presented with the date, your child’s name and the members of staff who you have been allocated to for parents evening.  Click on “Tap to Book” option for each staff member to view the appointments available for the member of staff.

Step 4

 You can select the “Available Slots” option, this will present you with the 5 minute appointments available to you.  Please add a comment in the box to indicate who will be with you on the night or any questions you have for the teacher.  This will help with the organisation of the evening.   Select “Book” once the information and time have been entered.

Step 5

 You will then be taken back to the booking screen once you have made the booking.  You will see the date of the event, your child’s name, the staff members you are seeing and the times you have booked.  If you would like to change your appointment time before Monday 15^th January at 5pm, please click on the time you have booked for and select a new time.

Step 6

 You will then be able to preview the booking.  If you need to “Un-Book” the appointment.  Click the red button and then complete steps 3 and 4 again.

Step 7

You will now see a complete list of your bookings in the “Parents Evening” section

Step 8

To begin your appointments, select “Start Appointments”.

Step 9

You may then be prompted to let Edulink One use you camera and microphone, please ensure you select   “Allow”.

Step 10

You will then be presented with the virtual parents evening experience. The screen can be broken down into 3 sections, each of these have been described below.
